Inventory Control
The data entry screen for the Procedures Module is below for entering procedures or products. There is a slightly different screen for entering prescription medications sold with The Dispenser™ and contact lenses sold if you are an eye care practice.

Changing inventory amounts
• To add items to inventory enter a positive amount in the inventory field next to the little calculator  and click this icon.  For example to add a dozen items enter “12” and click this button (If you click this button and the field is empty, you get the dialog on the left).  If you entered the number correctly you get the dialog on the right! Note: Only the master password can Adjust inventory!

Printing an inventory list
• To view and then print an inventory list, select PRINT Inventory from the Scripts menu.  This will first send to the screen a list of all inventory items, subgrouped by those that do not meet the minimum on hand requirements and those that do.  A sample list is shown below.

• When you are done looking at this list press the Continue button on the left side.  If you want to print this list click OK at the dialog seen above!

Contact Lenses
Since the software was written by an Ophthalmologist, there had to be a section for contact lenses. If you select the Type Of Service for a procedure to be a contact lens (CL) then this screen is used after you do a find.

For additional information on using this section in conjunction with the Vision module, please read the Vision Module chapter!

Prescription Drug Information

If you are using The Dispenser™ in conjunction with PracticeMaker™ this is where you store all the information and labeling defaults for the medications you dispense from the office!

• For additional information on these fields please refer to The Dispenser™’s separate manual!
